Depends on where and who you're interviewing with. Partner at their firm? I'd go business formal. Associate getting coffee? Business casual should work. In between? Use your best judgement. Mine was with a partner but at a local coffee shop. I went with nice slacks, jacket, and no tie and felt perfectly fine.

As far as your second question, it's certainly not like UVA's interview where everyone is getting in, but I don't think they're basically interviewing everyone like NW (but this could be wrong).

Got home and it's official; I have a letter from the school confirming my acceptance! Doesn't mention a phone call... I didn't write the "one phone call" essay, either.

Accepted today via snail mail!

Submitted 11/11. Status updated 11/20, 12/5, and 12/9. The letter was also dated 12/9. No interview.
