Rejected. Applied late Nov. Low GPA with strong addendum and 4.0 graduate work; 178 LSAT; strong essays, LOR, and (IMHO) very good 250. Certainly didn't think I was an auto-admit, but still very disappointed.

Condolences to all my fellow rejectees.

I wonder what the overall pool was like this year. Though I reckon it's like this every year; it's such a small class... and even though strong applicants are relatively rare there are dfinitely much more than ~250 of them per year.

...yep. For anybody wondering, I think that my biggest app weakness was my undergraduate record. Went to a certain giant private undergrad in the Village, graduated in 3 years (AP credits galore), and spent most of my time interning. No minor or double major or honors thesis. My app had an extreme professional > academic focus... To which Yale said "GTFO."

Dinged at 11:04. First of my cycle, and can't say I'm surprised it's coming from yale.

Note that I wrote yale with a lowercase y because apparently they don't have the energy or time to capitalize the d in decision in the subject line of the email. For me, that was the only part that stung.
