Has anyone who has been accepted, received an acceptance packet in the mail after the initial letter?

I haven't...and I don't think any ITT has mentioned receiving one.

Has anyone with a third update on 12/3 received a letter in the mail, or a hold email?

Re: Georgetown c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Hi, this is my first time posting. I applied ED on and went complete on 11/19. Since then I have received one update dated 11/27. It has not moved. Has anyone else had this experience?
Thank you.
Thank you.

7shay, I applied on 11/16, went complete on 11/26, and then had my only update on 11/27. I haven't had any movement since that time.
I felt hopeful that maybe there would be some action this week, but so far, nada
EDIT: I'm Early Decision

Had my alumni interview 2 days ago. Prior to the interview I had been stuck on complete since 11/20. Since Weds I've had 2 date changes, hoping for the best!

Re: Georgetown c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Looking for a bit of advice from you guys:
I got put of "hold" about a week ago via e-mail. I sent a brief response to the e-mail thanking them for reviewing my app further & expressing interest. I didn't intend for this to be an official LOCI. They responded back thanking me for my note of continued interest & added it to my file.
Do you think it would be wise to send another more detailed LOCI in like a month or additional LOR? Or should I just let it ride as is? Thanks!
FWIW: GULC is a big reach school for me, URM slightly below 25ths, Major GPA is median.

Same situation. I never really considered a LOCI, probably because I ignorantly thought that was only for WLers. I'd say send a more formal LOCI in about a month or so, maybe first week of January.
Thanks for the post. I'm gonna follow suit.

Cool, that's what I was leaning towards. Good luck!KanyeShrug wrote:Same situation. I never really considered a LOCI, probably because I ignorantly thought that was only for WLers. I'd say send a more formal LOCI in about a month or so, maybe first week of January.

Complete 11/19, 11/27, and now 12/7. No "hold" e-mail as of yet so cautiously optimistic...? Not sure if this signifies a 2nd review or a 3rd (tbh I may have missed one someplace). Bahh! So NO one found out via status checker, ONLY snail mail? That makes me so so sad.
