That is seriously weird.HawkeyeGirl wrote:For those of you on PR, I emailed asking of they could do a phone or Skype interview with dean hoye, per the email yesterday. They said no, it has to be in-person.

If there are 207 grads and 197 are employed how is that 100%?curious66 wrote:I was a bit off on the 31% on NYC -- it is 25% in the northeast for the class of 2011. agreed but that is only 10 students that are in a weird state of which a few are "not seeking". Still impressive. I could swear I read 100% someplace official. Can't find it now of course.BigZuck wrote:If there are 207 grads and 197 are employed how is that 100%?curious66 wrote:I was a bit off on the 31% on NYC -- it is 25% in the northeast for the class of 2011. I read 100% too. Found it in US News and World Report book I found at Barnes And Nobles.

Thanks. I was hoping for renewable but I knew better. Hoping to put at least a small dent in tuition being on ED.

I'm pretty much looking at it as having one academic year where I don't have to worry about funding living expenses purely off of loans. That, and funding the relocation to Durham.PM2353 wrote:AllDangle wrote:I know that is is not renewable and am 98% sure it is one time lump sum of 15K.PM2353 wrote:Does anyone have any info on the ED grant of 15k? Let us know how it goes. You might be the only one on to take them up on this interview, so there probably won't be (m)any other reports.bluepenguin wrote:PR. No, but tailored my PS. Kinda.ninetails wrote:Out of curiosity: did y'all with Priority Review and these "BH1s" write Why Dukes?

Will do. Hope I can work it out. Duke's the only law school I applied to. Seems perfect on paper, so I'd like to check it out in person. If I don't get in I'll be back haha.jym_dawg wrote:Let us know how it goes. Congrats!
How long has it been taking for non-ED, non-PT applicants? I commend and envy the patience of everyone who submitted back in October and is not insane yet. I only sent in my app a week ago, so I know I haven't the slightest reason to hope, yet can't stop myself from refreshing the status checker daily.

I'm going to be visiting in two weeks, and I have two days to hang out in Durham (the Duke visit is the third day). Any suggestions for things I should try?

i don't understand why schools wait so long for most WLs/dings when it's obvious that many ticketed for that route aren't getting in unless half of the admitted people get sucked into a dimensional vortex or something. I'm pretty sure I've been in the WL pile since October
