Law school administrators have been known to look at the boards, I wouldn't be surprised if admissions people browsed through as well.

Just check on my status checker thing and on 11/30 they updated my address from my current address to permanent. About half-way through December my lease expires so I am assuming that's why?

I also got this same change with a few other schools on the exact same date

I think this would be a good time to use some of those LSAT critical thinking skills.

Still at 11/3. Cornell is a bit a reach for me though. I figure my only chance is off the waitlist sometime in April...

I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. From LSN, they seem to accept pretty much anyone with above a 172.

Above a 172 and above a 3.3. Everyone above 172 and below 3.3 was waitlisted. If you see a couple green dots on LSN those are people who were accepted off the waitlist. The one exception is someone who was accepted with a 177/3.28, but that person was also accepted to Chicago, Berkeley, Penn, and NYU, so I think there was some sort of amazing soft on that person's app.

Of course, maybe scottybared and I will luck out because of the decrease in apps this year. :D

Went complete for the first time on 11/29 after submitting on 11/3.

I guess I'll have to wait for a little while.

Ah, you're right. I have this really bad tendency to gloss over big differences in GPA because they look like small numbers, haha. Probably why I have an inflated sense of my own admissions prospects.

Haha, I do that too. When I was sending out all my apps I was just like "oh yeah, 3.2, 3.3, whatever. same thing."

Not sure when it happened, but Cornell updated my address from current to permanent too. It's probably because I leave my current address in less than three weeks, but I'm going with the irrational assumption that they're reviewing my file.
