Well, funny story actually. I haven't received any mail yet. I live in Mid-Missouri, and thanks to snowmageddon the post office hasn't been operating the past few days. Last night though, when I was getting ready for bed, my iPhone chimes that I have an email. I check it and notice it's from Colorado, inviting me to the Diversity Visitation Weekend, and the first line reads "Congratulations once again on your admissions"
. It was awesome.

Ah yes, someone else heard that way too. I guess now the diverse students weekend email is replacing the women in law day emailSherlockHolmes wrote:Well, funny story actually. Hmm that's really weird no one else has posted getting the stipend. I have no idea at all why I would get it since most of yall have higher numbers than me so I'm a little confused, but I'm very thankful for it because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford to visit. I'm definitely loving CU right now.

I still can't find the schedule for March 4th ASD, anyone willing to assist? I appreciate the help ptblazer, but not sure I'm willing to give out my email to anyone I haven't met unless it is a foreign prince in need of assistance or a great investment opportunity involving getting more people to pay for the people already in.

Congrats to everyone admitted today. krad, I don't think you have a lot of cause for concern with your numbers if you decide to go CU for sure.

Anyone have hotel suggestions in Boulder? I'm probably just going to take the cheapest anyway, unless someone raves about one that is only slightly more expensive.

Re: CU Boulder 2011
I pretty much took the cheapest (Rodeway Inn) and one that was pretty close to the law school. Anyways you should try hotels.com. They have some really good deals.ptblazer wrote:Anyone have hotel suggestions in Boulder? By the way flamingo, I got the travel stipend too. Maybe it is a need based thing. I've already submitted my FAFSA and one look at that would make me eligible for basically anything. I spent most of 2010 in Indonesia or unemployed.

Re: CU Boulder 2011
Congrats Ledique and Sherlock!!!
There's a sweet hotel close to campus called the Boulder Outlook. I go there cuz I can bring my dog for free (they give you organic dog treats and a little bandana for them. so cute.) It also has an indoor pool/ hot tub, a cool bar that always has a decent blues band, and a nice free breakfast. The website says that the rooms start at $69 so I don't know what everyone else is paying, but it's worth checking out

I'll stick to the buses. I'm probably going to stay a day or two longer so that I can scout out places to live and get some land lord numbers, which would increase the cost of a car even more.
Who is douchie-er -- chrisbru or bananeez?
+1... I should have a rental car during the March ASD. I hate buses!
