Sorry for insulting your new school Gotti. Wouldn't want anyone thinking their 25th is a terrible 162. 163 is in a whole other league.

Ha ha... fair enough. I'm just bitter, don't mind me. This whole process has really frayed every last nerve that I've got.Gotti wrote:oh no i didn't mean it like that, sorry! Gotti, now that you're in, you have to call BU and convince them to accept me, too. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES!

From their website. I am way under median so probably going to get dinged.Median LSAT: 166 (range 151-173)
Beginning to be tempted to re-take for a 164/165... I'd probably be a lock at a lot of schools that have WL'd me this cycle. =/

Boston is amazing. It is like the bookstore capitol of the world!! I love it there... but with no love from the Bawwwston schools, it just isn't gonna happen I don't think. My 162 really needed to be a 163 or 164, I think.
I would totally live with the snow for Boston. Definitely NOT for Minneapolis.

Re: BU 2011 Applicants
My main problem is losing time. I have absolutely no desire to go through the entire app process again, and having nothing to do after June when I graduate besides fight this economy for a part time job or something. I need to be busy - really busy... academically. I immerse myself in academics (as evidenced by my >4.00 LSAC GPA from a top public U) and even working 32-40 hours a week wouldn't cut it. Not to mention the fact that everyone in my family expects me to start LS this year (including myself).maglialoro wrote:Aggiegrad2011 wrote:From their website. the first time i took the LSAT i got a 162...applied to BU, BC, Fordham, GW and got waitlisted and rejected from them all. I retook for this cycle and got a 167. Now im in at BC, Fordham and GW (waiting on BU). Its definetely worth a retake. If nothing else, I think a persons score can increase 2 or 3 points just because they are less nervous and know the process better.
Will probably end up going to UW or Hastings unless NU or UCLA pull me off the hold/waitlist (respectively). Debt won't really be that big of an issue for me so it's mostly a choice on geography and relative "goodness" of the programs.

Yea, that's my exact complete date, too. Their decisions process is confusing.
SIGH. I am gonna be depressed this entire weekend. The entire week hasn't been really good. Here's hoping that the next one will be better.

Aggie, a 164 in no way guarantees admittance. I guess we shall see.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:Boston is amazing. It is like the bookstore capitol of the world!! Hah, I know it doesn't. Nothing really guarantees admittance anywhere and that's just the way it is =-/Gemini wrote:Aggie, a 164 in no way guarantees admittance.
