My status checker still just says "application received" w a date of 12/9


I am in hell, I have gotten NOTHING from ANYONE.

Does it really smell like sulfur?

I applied on 11/4 and went UR on 11/16. If Gemini is right about a blank mailing updates box being bad news then I should not be an admit.

For what it's worth, I've been Under Review since 12/3 and my status checker hasn't changed, I haven't received an email video, and nothing arrived in my mailbox today.

They're not using courier pigeons, are they?

So you had nothing under mailings, just "decision rendered" and then 3 days later got an acceptance video? I guess that keeps my hopes up, but I won't be expecting much.

I thought Berkeley would take forever, but they sent me a decision in a month . Hopefully you'll hear back soon too.

If it's blank its WL/rejection/hold. I don't know if they will be doing holds anymore though, since final hold decisions are made at the end of Feb. I'm on hold. Wish me luck!

Lol my point is that mailings/decision finalized means nothing except that they've reached a decision. People were making all these theories during the first big wave of acceptances, only to find out that the status checker was pretty much random.

Everyone go do something to take your mind off this, because you won't know for sure until you're contacted by BC!

Pfft I'm on vacation. I won't get the (possibly mythical) letter for a month, so I'm not going to worry about it until then. Good advice
