Hey now, that wasn't directed at you, just at those who would accuse me of "playing the race/ethnicity card." You're just as much Cuban as I am...nothing personal acere.2011Law wrote:I guess I'm just a poser then.
Anyway, I've been told more than once that I can't be Hispanic because I'm white (ignorant-Hispanic is not a race), and asked if I even speak Spanish.PomasThynchon wrote:Hey now, that wasn't directed at you, just at those who would accuse me of "playing the race/ethnicity card." Sorry if this has been asked here before, but what class percentile is 3.0? All I know is that it is a B from this: "B, less than 3.167 and greater than or equal to 2.833".

Seriously! My mom read me the note and I was thinking "clearly you didnt think I was amazing enough to give me some money..." It makes sense now why ppl are withdrawing left and right on LSNktg808 wrote:+1 The handwritten note was just a slap in the face. Ahh well. I might withdraw. I don't think it's anything personal...people who don't get $$ usually don't have the numbers for it...There has only been a few people here who legitimately got gypped out of $$.Seriously! if it makes you feel better, I didn't get any $ with a 169, 3.75. My boyfriend, with a 167 3.83 got 30k and the first year housing. I don't know what the magic formula, but while I fit it for other schools, I don't for gwu.BBeauty wrote:Yea I know its nothing personal, still sucks though bcuz I def cant afford it now.FiveSermon wrote:I don't think it's anything personal...people who don't get $$ usually don't have the numbers for it...There has only been a few people here who legitimately got gypped out of $$.Seriously! this kind of makes sense considering their medians. you're above in LSAT and below in GPA. He's on the LSAT median and above in GPA. might have been the difference maker for $.Bela wrote:if it makes you feel better, I didn't get any $ with a 169, 3.75. Did you expect money from GW with a 163? Your use of 4 question marks makes me think you're surprised.nakiko2003 wrote:I just got my admit package. There is nothing about scholarship info? Does that mean I got no money from them????

Expecting money when you are pitfalls below a school's 25th LSAT is dumb.nakiko2003 wrote:FuManChusco wrote:Did you expect money from GW with a 163? I sensed a bit of irony here...yep, i am definitely expecting money cuz it's one of my safe school. I know i have a miserable LSAT score. But i dont see a better chance for someone with a 2.5 gpa from a 60ish school?
....he wasn't saying "don't expect to get one but I deserve one" ...he was saying your LSAT score means you shouldn't get money from GW lol. No need to be a dick.nakiko2003 wrote:FuManChusco wrote:Did you expect money from GW with a 163? Thank you. This is correct. I doubt I even get off the waitlist. I think nakiko is just a little upset that GW doesn't see them as a special little snowflake. And saying a school is one of your safeties when you're sitting below their 25th LSAT is laughable at best.Gotti wrote:....he wasn't saying "don't expect to get one but I deserve one" ...he was saying your LSAT score means you shouldn't get money from GW lol. me lol. it's a GREAT school so I'm still considering it.lateblooming wrote:is anyone in the same boat I am and considering GWU @ sticker with maybe a little need-based aid...?
Only way I would do sticker is with guaranteed max aid of $16k/yr. Even then, that's a lot of debt to swallow for the second best school in a market.lateblooming wrote:is anyone in the same boat I am and considering GWU @ sticker with maybe a little need-based aid...?
Now there's a charge.
