It certainly seems a bit easier to use than LSN... but I'll stick with what I know. My cycle can't last THAT much longer...daisyduke wrote:Thank you, Knock, for introducing me to a new procrastination website. I am thoroughly enjoying AD

Yeah, I'm considerably more relaxed now that I've gotten in to a couple of places I'm interested in possibly attending. Still a little stressed about Berk though, and Chicago.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:True, and you've racked up some really nice acceptances so far!!!artichoke wrote:It certainly seems a bit easier to use than LSN... but I'll stick with what I know. Dude, I'd never heard of AD. I'll check it out now because I've never been a big fan of LSN's layout.

I input my LSAC GPA and it said invalid, please enter numbers from 0-4. That was a pretty quick fix on behalf of them, impressive.SHarry3666 wrote:Just checked and it goes up to a 4.3 GPAdaisyduke wrote:I wish I had this problemAggiegrad2011 wrote:Admissionsdean won't accept above a 4.00 GPA. But it is good just to have another resource to compare, nonetheless.

Tonight, I walked from my school's library to my car. It is 1 degree outside. With the windchill, it is -15 degrees. At Berkeley it is 55 degrees out. I better not get dinged.

Were you thinking of Irving, Texas? I think Gotti was referring to Irvine, CA haha. Either way, both cities are a lot better weather-wise than -3!SisyphusHappy wrote:Today it dropped to -3 degrees. Wind chills out this way were in the -35 to -40 range two nights ago, which led to us having a pipe burst on Saturday morning. Roads were completely impassable (my husband got stuck in snow THREE TIMES on the way to the nearest gas station, which is about 10 blocks away), so there was no way a plumber could get out. We have been using melted snow to flush our toilets.
Moral of the story: don't go to school in Minnesota.
I sure would love some of that "holistic" Berkeley love.

You forgot the mosquitos the size of Alaska and the nasty heat/humidity from the 20 million lakes that state supports.softsgalore wrote:Wind chills out this way were in the -35 to -40 range two nights ago, which led to us having a pipe burst on Saturday morning. Berkeley has been very quiet lately. I would hope there is movement this week.

I live in the Bay Area, and yesterday I was walking around in a t-shirt without a jacket. Not looking forward to three years of Boston winters. Sigh, at least it will give me an excuse to crochet some scarfs.softsgalore wrote:Wind chills out this way were in the -35 to -40 range two nights ago, which led to us having a pipe burst on Saturday morning. Ha, ha. I guess I kind of asked for it. But seriously, I grew up in the Northeast and the weather here is so much nicer.CastleRock wrote:Ohhhhhhhhhh WHAT A TRAVESTY?!?!?!
