Let's bag on what other people like and start an internet fight about a burger chain!
Somehow, In-N-Out always engenders passionate debate...

LOL! Everytime I go to California my family always says "OMG, you have to try In-N-Out, it is the best burger in the world!" I always eat the damn burger, and think it is rather lame as far as burgers go. My sister just moved out there, and I asked her "What is up with the In-N-Out fetish in Cali?" She said "You have to understand, this isn't Texas. They aren't used to good burgers out here; it's the best they have."

Ok here's the deal with in-n-out, it's an awesome chain burger. In-n-out is the cadillac of fast food. It is easily the best fast food burger, but that is because it's competitors are mcdonalds burgerking what a burger and the like. most of these places you guys have listed are not in the same class of burger as in-n-out, let's just call it the 3.50 and below bracket.

In-n-out is great for a cheap burger, most of the burgers you gys are talking about are 4.00 and above right? that's a whole different kind of burger, at 7.00 and above you get a whole new kind and it's not right to compare them outside of their groups. Like where i live now there is in-n-out a pub called the green pig and B&D's they are all the best burger's of their class, in the area. comparing them would be like comparing the gas mileage of my civic to my Dad's F-150, obviously mine is way better, but mine couldn't do what he does with his car.

I know that is a lot to defend my in-n-out, but as a CA resident i feel the need. In-n-out is the best lower class burger. and for that it's damn good.

+1. Love In-N-Out for a drive-thru burger in California. Love the fries, my friends visiting reeeeeeally didn't. When I lived in Santa Barbara there was an AMAZING burger shack on the beach in Carpinteria called The Spot. I would avoid In-N-Out and go there...I would, however, make the 20 minute trek into Goleta just to get Freebirds. YUM.

Yes please. I also appreciate Whataburger because it serves cream gravy with it's chicken strips. That is hard to find north of Oklahoma. Just like the Dairy Queen serves cream gravy with it's steak fingers. Up here they don't even have steak fingers on the Dairy Queen menu.

On an SMU related note, I am really dorky and excited that I click "Current Students" instead of "Prospective Students" at the top of the website. Also I hope I get my admitted packet in a timely fashion considering Chicago streets are impassable to anyone without a monster truck.

I just called. They said we will be receiving scholly info in our admissions packet which we will receive next week.

I did my undergrad in Ohio, so I think it's a nice reprieve from the "wintery mix" we would get for four months straight...my friend sent me a picture of a hummer stuck in the middle of a road in Chicago. It made me lol!

You've gotta go with the honey butter chicken biscuit, or HBCB for those in the know, on those late nights.

And by the way, P. Terry's in Austin dominates In-N-Out. If they opened one up in Dallas, I would die a happy/fat man.

After being stuck in my apt for the past week I could use some fast food... Stupid snowmageddon. Luckily I stocked up on wine this weekend, if only I could get my drunchie fix later. I am still a fan of the tried and true McDonald's dollar menu though. Get a McChicken and McDouble, open the McDouble and put the McChicken inside and voila! a McChurger... May need more booze
