Dinging at 8:00 ----> pushing to get the WL out tomorrow?

I don't see how this could be true. The deadline was extended to March 1, and no one who went complete after January has heard yet, correct? Have people who went complete in January even heard? I feel like a lot of posters here submitted very early in the cycle and believe themselves to be destined for the WL, and maybe that is true, but what about those of us who submitted later? Or is this just wishful thinking?

Pretty sure there are people ITT who went complete and interviewed in February and have been accepted.

i've seen posts here from people accepted with interviews around feb 12-14. i haven't seen any from late february(correct me if there were some) but i think it's because there weren't that many. there probably have been some accepted from js1 feb.

Either way, I don't see much reason to doubt that the WL will be coming out soon, especially in light of the recent blog.

Yeah, that blog makes me think it's coming in the next couple of days. I'm so tempted to post a comment asking whether, in light of the post and the statement in either an earlier post or on the website that applicants would be notified as soon as a decision is reached, that means there will be WL notices tomorrow.

Multiple dings on LSN from January AND February completes, with strong numbers too, and I think a few people even had JS1s sometime in 2014 but I can't think of specifics off the top of my head.

Off the top of my head there were two people who interviewed in late Feb and got dinged, including the infamous 3.9./180. There are many examples ITT of people being dinged or accepted after going complete in January or later. Even a March complete was dinged on Tuesday.

Also, keep in mind that there tend to be straight acceptances even after the WL comes out. They're not necessarily going to wait until everyone has had a decision to pull out the WL.

I'm at both 75's...if I'm not good enough to get into Harvard, great, I can deal with it. But if I don't get in just because I applied late in the cycle (and it wasn't even THAT late!), well, then that would absolutely suck.

Exactly. I haven't been paying as much attention to individual numbers, but this is my thinking as well.
