Waitlisted on the 15th. A second "decision letter" was sent on the 17th: does anyone have any idea what that is?

Most likely going to ride out the wait list; it is my first choice.

Still in review! One would think that, if they were going to accept me, they'd have done it by now. But I guess it's not over until it's over.

Some of them take a long time (7-10 days after going blank). I wonder if it's because the mail is slow, or because they make a decision, but don't actually physically mail it until a few days later?

That sucks. Hopefully you'll get a call day after deposit deadline.

Could the second letter be a WL response form? Or did that come in WL letter?

Neelio, you have too much faith. I haven't given up hope, but I no longer have any expectations. I just figure it'll go blank on April 1. Anything earlier will be gravy.

My status went blank on Saturday morning and now it has gone back to in review (same date 3/4). UW is playing a Jedi mind game with me.

I was going to make a really, really nerdy star wars joke, but just caught myself.

Hope you find out soon. I went in review 3/13 (my birthday!) and am hoping for the best. I'll be a borderline candidate given this years increase in applications.

At this point, I think everyone is so confused that you are going to get mixed answers. Get a bottle of Jack, post up in front of the TV and watch some hoops for the next 8 days. You'll know by then.

especially since the dawgs are playing in the sweet 16 on thursday, maybe if they can make it to their first elite 8 ever, the adcomms will get so plastered they will just admit everyone thats left

I have also been in review since 12/29, and at this point I think our odds are about 50/50. They liked us enough to keep us around for this long, but they're not sure if they want to admit us.
