So can one still be rejected off of a hold, or are the options pretty much WL and accepted? I'm just confused as to what the point of a hold is.

Hello, I was just recently held at cardozo... I have however received an 84k schollie from LLS, and have been accepted at FSU..I was wondering how I should word an email, letting them know about the other schools, and declaring my interest in cardozo if accepted. What are my chances at admission off of hold and if I got off what are the odds of receiving a scholarship? Thanks for any input.

my application was recently put on "hold" at Cardozo. I'm not sure what this means. My numbers are 163/3.85, i thought I had strong softs, but perhaps I don't. I just sent over a LOCI, is there anything else that I can do? does anyone know what "hold" actually means?

I spoke to a law school counselor about holds a while ago, and he said that Cardozo used holds last year as either a YP tool but were willing to accept if the person showed genuine interest, or if they generally liked the person but wanted to see what the rest of the class looked like before making a final decision. He said a hold was by far better than a waitlist, but I think this is true pretty much everywhere.

I called a few weeks back when I was placed on "special hold" was told to call at the end of March if I was still on hold. Blah

I'm uberlate for the ASD discussion but I was there as well! Met no TLSers though luckily I did make friends and even mentioned TLS but just got shrugs, oh well lol.

About the gunner girl, ugh, I wanted to face palm. I wish she just did what the guy next to me was doing. He was writing alot, like ALOT ALOT ALOT. But he didn't raise his hand once. Ugh, algorthim lol, that's my word of the day from that day I think lol

Got a call from Cardozo offering a full scholarship (contingent upon top 40%). If I had gotten this call 3 weeks ago, I think I would have been ecstatic, but I've been focusing on and allocating my heart to the schools that already offered me acceptances and scholarships that I'm sure I came across as faux-enthusiastic. I just don't know if I have any desire to live and practice in New York. I guess I should visit just to see it and give it a chance.

I've been complete since 1/6 and still nothing! I should have been an auto-reject but a rejection hasn't been rendered yet. Not that I think I'm being seriously considered given how long I have been pending it's just odd how long it's taking them to make a decision!

what are your stats? I've got a sketchy bone to pick with dean martinidez, who told me ALL the money was gone 2 weeks ago.
