I just checked my status and it was updated 1/29 Complete. Is there any consensus on this meaning anything, I applied Jan 12. 171/3.4

We have decided that an update is good, but doesn't necessarily mean anything. I think...mrm2083 wrote:I just checked my status and it was updated 1/29 Complete. Is there any consensus on this meaning anything, I applied Jan 12. 171/3.4

join the club mrm. it means you'll be part of a neurotic group waiting for an email from wustl. this group consists of 1/25, 1/26, and 1/29-ers who did not receive an email on 1/25, 1/26, or 1/29.
i have my entire week of television while waiting for decisions planned out. tuesday will be "the bad girls club" on oxygen (i.e. trashy girls with lots of profanity). wednesday will be "high school reunion" on tvland (i.e. my classmates and i in 15 years) and "cougartown" on abc (i.e. me in 20 years). thursday will be "the deep end" on abc (i.e. what i hope post-law school will be like). gotta get all the tv-watching out of my system before hitting law school.
you needed to start earlier today, they had an entire marathon!robin600 wrote:Damn it now I'm watching it!

honestly working construction/site maintenance has been the best to alleviate my post application waiting stress with compulsive app status checker mania tendencies. self diagnosis obv. going up to the old fraternity house this past weekend helped too.

I'm a splitter. >75 LSAT <<25 GPA. I hope but don't know whether or not they will like my numbers. I am resigned to waiting on most of my schools, or at least the ones that don't auto-reject me.luckyjd wrote:Depends on your numbers.Great Expectations wrote:Submitted 1/27. Complete 2/1. Any thoughts on a timeline for my app? Mid March perhaps?Seems like they handpicked their acceptances. The more they like your numbers, the quicker the turnaround..? Maybe? I've been waiting since end of December with numbers in their ball park.

What is official? Official in that we still don't know whether we're in or not? I'm nervous, I'm a 1/25er and still nothing! Yikes...vanstone22 wrote:so the 1/25,1/26, and 1/29 crew is official.

Re: For WUSTL Applicants
Yesterday I posted that I got into WUSTL in early January and hadn't received anything in the mail, and a few other people mentioned that they hadn't either.
Well I called the admissions office yesterday, and they said they are finishing up the package and will mail it out Friday. Also, the lady said that scholarships will be released sometime in the middle of this month.
Just passing on some helpful information for those of you in the same boat as me.

I wonder if that means everyone who heard/hears before Friday gets a packet, or whether it will starting coming in waves starting then. The scholarship information is good to know, thanks!
