does anyone else feel like they've been complete FOREVER (or... you know like two plus months) with no word? i used to feel really good about my chances... there's green all around my stats on lsn... but every day i'm less and less confident. i just can't figure out why i haven't heard a word!
i know i have to be patient... it just sucks because i wanttt ut

I was complete since very early November with no word-then got a phone call on 1/28/10 saying I was in. Honestly, I had given up and stopped checking my status by that point.

Got the call around 5:00 pm today (via voicemail)! As a Texas resident, UT is one of my top choices, so this was very good news at the end of my work day. Judging by LSN it sure doesn't look like there were many calls today. No mention of scholarship money in the voicemail. 176/3.6

someone in my office has that Crockett quote on a coffee cup, I may need to buy one, soon...Yeah, chiz. This is nuts! SMU is a fantastic school, no doubt, and I would be proud to attend it. But this....I haven't quit grinning since yesterday. I didn't sleep last night because I was so happy, and I found myself skipping and humming at work today. Unreal doesn't even start to cover it. congrats again--maybe i'll see you in Austin this fall!

I got the call today but somehow the call didn't actually come through on my phone. I was ordering a sandwich at Quizno's when my phone vibrated with a voicemail from an Austin number.... the lady ordering my sandwich was getting pretty upset that I wasn't answering the question "Anything else with that?" because I was too busy listening to that voicemail. I don't regret it.

169/3.5 if anyone cares. I was held over from Early Decision.

I think so! I'm a Texas resident (Houston), and the in-state tuition is a huge deal.

I did apply to Columbia and Chicago, and if by some chance I was accepted I'd certainly think seriously about my options. But, most likely, I'll be at UT.
