I love how everyone is in disbelief the first time they can get into the site. :D

PS i applied 11/2, got received email 11/6, still no status checker. anyone else in the same boat?

Well, I already have a UMID from last cycle (when I applied but ended up not going), so maybe that's why I got it faster. But I would maybe send them an email or give them a call, just to check.

If you haven't received a status checker in three weeks, the email said to call. The woman who answers the phone is really really nice.

Wow, I am in shock! I was growing increasingly skeptical of a Michigan acceptance...this came out of nowhere, really! I am very excited to visit.

Stats for anyone who is interested:

172, 3.5x, out of state, 2 supplemental essays, applied end of October.

A 3.5x acceptance is pleasing to me. Those have been hard to come by, and I'm in the same group.

So I called the admissions office about getting a status checker because it's been 5 weeks (i know a lot of us are in the same boat) and they said if this is the case you should send them an e-mail because your application is likely not complete. Although they looked into mine and it was, they said they'd try and update me immediately. Worth a shot right?
