Keep in mind W&M plainly states that most applicants will receive a decision in March. From what i've seen only the auto-admits, or close thereto, are receiving their decisions now. The rest of us in the murky middle will have to fight it out amongst ourselves in March...

I got my acceptance packet today.

I got the $10,200 Graduate Fellowship (in-state tuition, basically), a $4,000/year stipend, and a $5,000/year merit scholarship. Solidness. I'm unlikely to attend W&M, though I do like the school, and it's a nice option to have.

I'm not a big fan of the strings attached to the Graduate Fellowship, though--namely, the work hours. Although it might look good on a resume--research assistant to Professor so-and-so.

The Gradplex priority is sweet. It's incredibly close to the law school. Less than five minutes, it seems like. I don't know how this is for Williamsburg, but a room all to yourself with a kitchen and bathroom to share with like one or two other people for about $6,000 a year seems like a terrific deal, considering, too, its location and the fact you aren't isolate from other students in some off-campus apartment.

That said, I like the school and am glad to have this option in my pocket, but I'm hoping for some different options.

The Gradplex is literally right next door to the law school. It's an awesome set up.

That's good. The mailing will come.

I looked at last year's LSN. All WL's and denies came in March. Furthermore, everyone who was accepted was admitted within a month or so of their application. No one who was accepted went complete in November and then was admitted in the March group. This means that if you're decision pending, it's overwhelmingly likely you are a deny or WL. Thus. I am a WL or a deny. Drats.
