I applied 11/17 and went "ready for review" on 12/12 but still have heard nothing on a decision/interview request. Bad sign I'm assuming.

I've been ready for review since 12/12 as well and I'm at or above both medians. I don't think it means anything bad but I would like to hear something from them soon.

I'm sorry to hear that. On the bright side, you have strong numbers and should get in elsewhere.

I appreciate the kind words. I've been waitlisted at four of the t13 thus far. Don't expect to get into the t6. But hey, that's what retakes are for lol

Rejected. Super splitter, LSAT >>75, GPA < 25. Not terribly torn up about it, I was honestly more upset about Vandy waitlist. Good luck to all you guys and brace yourselves for those winters!!

Placed on reserve today with a GPA (barely) >75th from an Ivy and LSAT between 25th and median. Never got any interview.

Here we are again LtotheB , got placed on reserve @Cornell too!

That's quite surprising. Was there any other aspect of your application that was lacking, do you think? Anybody else have an explanation for this?

Cornell's LSN is a bloodbath this year. They dinged a 3.8/173.

I hear they got a new admissions dean and it looks like they're really gunning to raise their medians.

I think it also has to do with the timing of your application - it's pretty late. Late applications tend to hurt your chances at smaller schools.

I applied last year at almost the same exact date (1/4/16) and got dinged in a month.

Yeah, it's probably a combo of that and then ranking hunting. Probably just a bad cycle for me to apply to them.
