I was waitlisted. Lsat is 169, gpa is 3.66-3.7, and I'm from the Midwest. Submitted in mid October. Pretty devestated to be honest.

Do they ask everyone who eventually gets in to interview?
I applied 11/17 and went "ready for review" on 12/12 but still have heard nothing on a decision/interview request. Bad sign I'm assuming.

I've been ready for review since 12/12 as well and I'm at or above both medians. I don't think it means anything bad but I would like to hear something from them soon.mcssports1 wrote:Do they ask everyone who eventually gets in to interview?

I appreciate the kind words. I've been waitlisted at four of the t13 thus far. Don't expect to get into the t6. But hey, that's what retakes are for lolzeglo wrote:I'm sorry to hear that. On the bright side, you have strong numbers and should get in elsewhere.somedeadman wrote:I was waitlisted. Lsat is 169, gpa is 3.66-3.7, and I'm from the Midwest. Submitted in mid October. Rejected. Super splitter, LSAT >>75, GPA < 25. Not terribly torn up about it, I was honestly more upset about Vandy waitlist. Good luck to all you guys and brace yourselves for those winters!!

Status checker finally changed from "Interview Requested (12/21)", when I interviewed, to "Ready for Review (1/19)"

That's quite surprising. Was there any other aspect of your application that was lacking, do you think? Anybody else have an explanation for this?somedeadman wrote:I was waitlisted. Lsat is 169, gpa is 3.66-3.7, and I'm from the Midwest. Submitted in mid October. Pretty devestated to be honest.

Cornell's LSN is a bloodbath this year. They dinged a 3.8/173.HYPSM wrote:That's quite surprising. Was there any other aspect of your application that was lacking, do you think? I hear they got a new admissions dean and it looks like they're really gunning to raise their medians.

Dinged. Submitted 1/4, ur 1/12.
Confused because that's like, a really fast turnaround I'm almost wondering if there's something critically wrong with application. Lsat at median gpa <25.

I think it also has to do with the timing of your application - it's pretty late. Late applications tend to hurt your chances at smaller schools.
I applied last year at almost the same exact date (1/4/16) and got dinged in a month.

Either that or they're looking to protect their yield percentage.Sarastro wrote:Cornell's LSN is a bloodbath this year. They dinged a 3.8/173.HYPSM wrote:That's quite surprising. Yeah, it's probably a combo of that and then ranking hunting. Probably just a bad cycle for me to apply to them.Thomas Hagan, ESQ. wrote:Sorry to hear thatMint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Dinged. Submitted 1/4, ur 1/12.
