I'm not sure. There is no follow up.maxc1994 wrote:Whether those guys eventually get admitted? Or only an email telling them bad news after the whole waiting?jsylkpd wrote:I checked the thread from last year and it says some ED applicants did not even get any notification within five weeks...Alive97 wrote:Technically it could be that your decision was mailed out within the 3 week timeline.jsylkpd wrote:For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. GT admits tons of people without an interview. Moreover, the interviews are pretty chill. Nothing serious.
Also, it seems that GT does not follow the 3 weeks timeline at all. My application went complete on 10/29 but haven't heard anything yet. I went to a group interview on Nov 5. My numbers are pretty low so I'm pretty sure that I'll get deferred, but at least send me an email you know...

Or, they realized the post distracted you from your memo and didn't want to take up that precious time. To all of the accepted candidates itt, if you have a choice between two similar schools, give significant weight to p/f LRW. My personal valuation is around 3 preftige spots or $50k in scholarship dough.

On your application checker, does it show your current address or permanent address?kylethedog wrote:I don't have the letter. Honestly, I'd bet it's because they know you're a captive audience, per se. Because you've already committed yourself, they know that they can give you an answer a bit later and still have you as students, whereas for many of us submitting RD they want to get a jump on other schools and incur favor with those they think they might lose to other places we're applying.maxc1994 wrote: So why you RD people have got a decison but a ED submitted before you haven't yet.

It just seems rude to do that to EDers, especially those beyond the 3 week timeframe because they are preventing them from EDing elsewhere.

Thank you for understanding! All I want is just a great tksgiving break, or maybe more LSAT cramming without turkey.bdb90 wrote:It just seems rude to do that to EDers, especially those beyond the 3 week timeframe because they are preventing them from EDing elsewhere.

It was sent to me through my current address, and that's also the one on my status checker. All of my other mail from random schools that solicit me is being sent to my permanent address though FWIWkylethedog wrote:I think they will correspond with your current address although I am not sure because my permanent and current address are the same thing so unfortunately i am of no help hereApplicant12 wrote:I'm curious about this too because my parents are my permanent address but I want them to be sending mail to my current addressjsylkpd wrote:On your application checker, does it show your current address or permanent address?kylethedog wrote:I don't have the letter.
