I don't think you can quite call it YP for a T6 (at least not as easily as you can say UVA or Penn YPed you), but last year there were definitely a bunch of super high numbers candidates who waited around forever and then got eventually held then WLed. it wouldn't be unheard of.

Same for me as well

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks past my interview. Idk what New York City doesn't like about my application. #DLSNeverCrew

edit: my LSAT is at median not above

I am just going to add myself to this list. Submitted late October.

Also above both 75ths and submitted in early November. They requested my fall grades (which even went up), but have not contacted me for an interview or anything else.

I'm above both 75ths as well and submitted/went complete in mid-November. No contact with Columbia since. :( I'm trying to tell myself not to worry too much, but it's getting harder and harder.

Thanks! Via email - same as the person above - a scanned copy of a letter sent snail mail.

I double checked, and I'm actually below both of Columbia's medians from last year but was accepted one month after going complete; I'm guessing they're either (1) hedging their bets and assuming someone with my stats is more likely to matriculate or (2) the overall stats of their applicant pool have decreased since last year. Maybe both? I don't have particularly impressive softs

There is simply no other reasonable explanation. This must be the case.

Just joining this lovely thread now. :D

My app went complete on Jan 21. Any ideas when I might hear back? Also, is the consensus that they're sending emails to all admits or is there still a totally unpredictable combination of emails/snail mail?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
