It's possible. I've seen a couple people with similar stats admitted on LSN, but they were very early in the cycle.ticklemesilly wrote:You never know. They are usually very splitter friendly.cm_burns wrote:I applied binding ED about a week ago. 75th LSAT and <<<<<GPA so it's a longshot.

In via status checker yesterday! Complete late October, interviewed 1st week of December and radio silence since (until yesterday) so those still waiting awhile after interviewing there is still hope!

Yeah I'm a splitter (~25th GPA, >75th LSAT), and I got in EBD. Don't give up hope!ticklemesilly wrote:You never know. They are usually very splitter friendly.cm_burns wrote:I applied binding ED about a week ago. 75th LSAT and <<<<<GPA so it's a longshot.

So what are the odds we find out today for UVA?
I applied in mid-December. Thoughts?
LSAT-- >75%
GPA -- <25%
2 years work/strong softs

UVA doesn't seem to do waves so the chances today are the same as any other day. And the chance of hearing something anytime soon (or at all) seem to be rather low. I've heard nothing since going complete early November.Sue_Lawyer wrote:So what are the odds we find out today for UVA?

I think if you are a resident it might be faster thoughhereisonehand wrote:UVA doesn't seem to do waves so the chances today are the same as any other day. I'm a resident and things haven't been fast for me. Applied early January, got an interview invite shortly afterward, but I've heard nothing since then even though the interview went well and I'm really interested in UVA. My stats are YPable though so maybe that's why?ticklemesilly wrote:I think if you are a resident it might be faster thoughhereisonehand wrote:UVA doesn't seem to do waves so the chances today are the same as any other day. Applying early January and getting any response at all is considered fast in my opinion. Would love to be granted an interview at this point. Good luck, hope you hear back soon.IngmarKurosawa wrote:I'm a resident and things haven't been fast for me. Any idea what percentage and type of applicants receive interview offers for UVA? I am >50 LSAT and >75 GPA submitted late November and I haven't heard a thing!

I just received an interview invite with Grace A. Cleveland. Does anyone have tips or know of any potential curveballs I should look out for?

Why UVA?
Tell me more about X (depends on your history).
Pitch yourself to me (elevator pitch).
If it isn't obvious, the Skype interviews are video interviews.

UVA invite as well. Guess I'll work on that elevator pitch.

What's the consensus on when the UVA scholly info comes relative to acceptance? In the mailed package or afterward?

Roughly two months after acceptance via snail mail. Unless you are offered the Dillard. For some people, those come during the interview or shortly afterwards.accessislife wrote:What's the consensus on when the UVA scholly info comes relative to acceptance? In the mailed package or afterward?

do I have a chance of still getting an interview? UVA is my top choice
