So has anyone been offered the Mordecai already or is this profile as fake as it seems? http://lawschoolnumbers.com/machacw
Not to mention accepted to NU on a date when all other admits were ED and @tweetsbyjohann indicated he was only going out with ED admits that day.

I saw a profile a few days ago that had a Mordecai interview 1/6 and said they got the offer this week I think, but I don't remember where/who.lc39 wrote:So has anyone been offered the Mordecai already or is this profile as fake as it seems? http://lawschoolnumbers.com/machacw

Cool, seems more likely that this is legit then. Still wondering about that NU date though...LetsGoMets wrote:I saw a profile a few days ago that had a Mordecai interview 1/6 and said they got the offer this week I think, but I don't remember where/who.lc39 wrote:So has anyone been offered the Mordecai already or is this profile as fake as it seems? http://lawschoolnumbers.com/machacw

Two Mordecais already and just on LSN? Jesus. Duke only estimates 4-8 enroll annually.

A Mordecai is a great outcome even with a 173/3.9 (both profiles have this). Those stats can get fulls at UVA and Penn, but typically not more than $100,000 at CCN.Mack.Hambleton wrote:they probably have to give a lot more tho because most people with those stats arent going anywaynickhalden wrote:Two Mordecais already and just on LSN? Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Just got the e-mail - provisionally admitted via PT! This was the notorious Day 10 for me and it was over 10pm, so I was seriously thinking that they either (a) forgot about me, or (b) hated me, or (c) both. So grateful that I already got two acceptances (I was admitted to NYU on the 7th), especially considering that I only applied late December. Duke is an awesome option to have!
Stat: Low 170's/4.0X, Top3 LAC, Some decent softs considering that I am K-JD but nothing stunning, Two what I assume to be decent LOR's...
App: No why Duke (yay, no-why-dukers) but a diversity statement (ESL, low-income background, international student). I incorporated Why Duke elements into my PS and DS though - thought this would be better than to write a half-hearted Why Duke (I have never visited North Carolina in my life).
Now I know my numbers are not YP-worthy LOL. Maybe I am in that sweet spot where I am not high enough for Duke YP but high enough for NYU...
GL to all the PT waiters out there!

I thought I would have more time to work on my thesis this semester since I would only be waiting...but I was so wrong! Now my productivity is non-existent.
On day 6 of PT now, can't stop refreshing every 5 minutes...this is literally going to be the longest 10 days ever.

Ahhh UR2 (PT, complete 1/8 and UR1 1/9). That means a decision in the next couple of days, right?
Also damn, they work late nights at Durham. I was still on UR1 as of this afternoon.

Looks like we'll be getting our decisions at around the same time. I went complete the same day you did, and mine went UR2 this morning.leslieknope wrote:Ahhh UR2 (PT, complete 1/8 and UR1 1/9). Didn't apply ED to Northwestern, but I guess I'm just a special snowflake. I was recently offered a Mordecai (learned that it is pronounced Morde-KEY) after driving to down to Duke to interview in person. Dean Hoye is very nice.

I've tried digging through the pages for info but I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for... maybe someone can help.
Went complete on 01/09, does anyone know how long I can expect to wait to go under review this late in the cycle?
