Maybe we can convince Cornell to get on board with the city of Ithaca and move ASDs to Key West?

Submitted 1/6; UR1 1/24; UR2 2/11; UR3 today.

Question: should I be expecting an interview invite soon? Or is the interview not required in the decision making process?

It's not required. Generally, it seems that they've only been interviewing applicants for YP purposes, so whether you should expect an interview request will probably depend mostly upon your stats

I think a lot of people who had objectively terrible likelive interviews (myself included) have been accepted so don't worry too much. Yes, it's horrible. But it's over quickly.
Yeah, I put off doing mine but then scheduled a time for it like I would a regular interview and that helped me get it done. I had some technical difficulties and still got in, so don't stress about it.
Thanks for all the reassuring advice! I did it over the weekend and it actually wasn't as bad as a I thought...maybe having an abysmally low expectation helped :D

UR3 (I believe, it could be 4?) today. Since my numbers aren't high enough for YP, should I be expecting either an interview request or decision soon? My last update was yesterday and before that was like 2 weeks ago.

Got an interview request today. I'm kind of curious about the robot interview everyone was talking about.

Questions can be found here but it's a terrible though quick interview experience that anecdotally does not seem to have much if any weight on admissions (aside from weeding out those who don't even take the time to complete the livelike interview)

Just to give you an idea, they give you a practice session, then give you a question, 60 seconds to answer, then the next question with 60 seconds and so on (4 questions total). For me it was a disaster, didn't even get to answer all 4. Still got in the next day.
