Ok. Thank you.

4x40 has always been Wake goal. Things have been off the past couple of years because of the changing number of applicants and such.

Right. As long as that's true. Like you said, last year it was crazy. I'm totally fine with a 160 class. I just really would appreciate keeping it at 160 and not over that.

Do you have to be in the top 10% to graduate with any type of honor from Wake Forest? I know at other schools, like WUSTL and UNC top 25 - 30% can graduate with Latin Honors (or some type of honor), and that makes a big difference in employment too.

Grad here- Wake's latin honors are based on GPA rather than finishing top xyz percent, although Order of the Coif is awarded to the top 10% at graduation.

Cum laude = 90 - 91.99 GPA
Magna cum laude = 92 - 93.99 GPA
Summa cum laude = 94+ GPA

Cutoff for cum laude was something like top 15-20% and magna was maybe top 6% my year, but these fluctuate from year to year depending on grade distribution within any given class. Summa is rarely awarded although the top dude did qualify in our class.

I don't post that frequently any more but feel free to PM with questions if you are on the fence with your decision.

I'm sorry, Cricket. You've recommended western NC style BBQ and this is not the credited response. As a native North Carolinian, I hereby revoke your NC privileges. While western has its place, we all know eastern is where it's at. It's like Chicago style pizza. It's good, but it ain't real pizza.

I just checked law school numbers and I don't see anyone who has heard back yet. You might be waiting until after the next seat deposit.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Crowne Polo apartments? Or can anyone comment on what they look like? I am guessing the pictures on the website are not an entirely accurate representation.

Samesies for Deacon's Station and Alaris, if anyone has visited those. Thanks!

For Crowne, imagine the photos on the website without any furniture lol. They do actually look very nice.

I visited crowne oaks and park before withdrawing from wake. both were clean and beautiful. Alaris could not have been more different. The units were small, dark, and dirty (NOTHING like how they appear online). Definitely not worth the money you'd save by living there instead of a crowne property. As for deacon station, several 3ls at wake told me not to live there - it's supposedly noisy, less safe, and overrun by undergrads

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
