Anyone have a clue when Duke will start looking at more RD applicants? According to the spreadsheet almost all acceptances have gone out to PT applicants. My status checkers still says File Complete, Ready for Review 10/28.

I was pretty certain I'd hear something today but I didn't. PT went complete 11/27, which would make Saturday my tenth day. I thought I'd get an answer before the weekend.

Honestly can't wait to just get this one out of the way. Its the only one I'm sweating, and its only because I know the answer is coming soon. When its all up in the air I can rest easy, but knowing I will hear back in a day or two is just too much.

Mine worked. If you're applying for both need and merit consideration, it doesn't look like you're supposed to submit the application until after January 1 when the need-based application is available. Awards will start coming by snail mail in late January.

Question about negotiating that scholarship amount once it comes, though: do you address those kinds of emails to the general admissions email address, or specifically respond to the email from Financial Aid?

Hey I received the scholarship email today, but it only opens a 1 page form asking if I want to apply for need+merit or merit only aid. Is this the scholarship application form? I figured there would be essays for the merit aid...

I suppose that they could be not counting Thanksgiving in the 10, and so I'll hear tomorrow. But they didn't say anything about that in their email to me, unlike people who were going to have their 10 days run up around Thanksgiving who got emails saying that they might be a day or two late.
