WL'd via email LSAT <25% GPA >75%. Going to visit in the next couple of weeks and then considering sending in a Why UVA essay. Very surprised to even be considered given my low LSAT score.

Sorry to hear about all the waitlists this morning
Did you all receive the email at the same time or will UVA keep sending them out through the day? Also, when did you all submit? Thanks

My understanding is that basically no one gets off of the waitlist.
Even if they did, with such a late acceptance date, financial aid is basically a no go.

I feel like someone earlier said that 20% of the incoming class was off the WL or something. Could be mistaken.linkx13 wrote:My understanding is that basically no one gets off of the waitlist.

I wonder if any of the programming/stats geniuses on TLS can mine LSN for applications with WL --> Acceptohpobrecito wrote:I feel like someone earlier said that 20% of the incoming class was off the WL or something. Wow, sorry to hear that. Kind of shocking. With those numbers I think you are in good shape at some other really great schools though.orangec90 wrote:Rejected - 168 / 3.66 URM. Didn't write a Why UVA or interview. Oh well!
