Judging by the posts in this forum, an acceptance box won't fit in my mailbox at my apartment, so they would have to email me to get it from the front desk. A USPS envelope, however, would fit quite nicely in the mailbox. A bit of a pseudo-email notification.
Whelp it's FedEx for acceptance so it wouldn't be in your mailbox anyways

Here's to hoping for empty mailboxes for all of us the next few days.

Aren't the acceptances sent Fedex 2-Day? Or was that just for the earlier admits?

If it was sent on a Friday, it might turn into 3-day shipping. Weekends are weird.

Hmmm.
Of the people with 3/1 mail dates, people with similar stats got in last year, in every case. I think we have reason for hope.

We're all in it together. Good luck to all of you! I have a feeling we'll be getting a lot of good news.

Previous Friday DLSes have resulted in black boxes arriving on the following Tuesday. Weird but true.

Same thing happened to me. I was lucky enough not to have checked my status over the weekend though, so it was a surprise.

I don't see any full rides on LSN. I guess that means those haven't been handed out yet - I wonder if people who already got offers are not out of the running for those.

Like will they double back and add on to the award?

Well they were something that had to be applied for separately and went to a different committee iirc. So it may just be independent from the regular schollys.

I received 90k + the 5k thing. I was hoping for a bit more but it pretty much solidifies that I'll be going to Michigan in the fall (I received 75k there).

From combing through last year's thread, it seems like if you're a finalist for the full rides then you're invited to interview.

Not sure I can justify giving Vandy 70K for law school.
What are your numbers?

My letter said "In determining your award, the Scholarship Committee considered both merit and financial need"
Yours may be different
Mine did too but I sent in my FAFSA/Needaccess at a time that it is unlikely they got it and looked at it enough to use need-base as a motive.

Anybody not gotten their scholarship notice yet? I still haven't, and I'm in TN.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
