Anyone else get an "out of the blue" scholly increase today? Not complaining at all, but this seemed, well, odd all things considered.

You just logged in to the ASW again and saw more money? Did they update the old number or add a 2nd line with more? congrats!

Your post made me check - and I just saw a scholarship. I was admitted back in November and didn't get a scholly the first round. But today, there is one. Dated 12/14 for letter sent.

I also got a scholarship increase (notified via email) from 54k to 67.5k over 3 years. Definitely unexpected, but not complaining! Do you think Mich is trying to compete with UVA's bigger schollies this year?

Hmmm, I've had an amount posted on the site since the second round went out a week or so ago, but there's still no record of the confirmation letter being mailed out. My record shows the initial acceptance package, a follow up email, and housing info, but no scholarship letter listed. You guys actually see a scholarship letter as being sent? Is anyone else missing it from their mailings?

Same here, I have had a Dean's scholarship since about the second round of scholarship updates, but still no letter and no mention of it in the communications part. Some people with similar numbers to me got Darrow invites so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will take a second look and decide to invite me too!

After 2 weeks of "Complete" changes every day, just got accepted via status checker! So excited! 174/3.54 Non-URM.

I wouldn't read too much into this. I received my scholarship letter a few weeks ago (it's dated December 3rd) and it still doesn't appear under Communications. They may have already sent it and it's just missing from yours like mine is.

I wouldn't read too much into this. I received my scholarship letter a few weeks ago (it's dated December 3rd) and it still doesn't appear under Communications. They may have already sent it and it's just missing from yours like mine is.

I submitted 11/15, RD. My heart goes out to everyone still stuck on Complete.

So I haven't heard a single thing, just the constant updates on Michigan's status checker. I'm seeing a lot of accepted people at LSN. It's feeling a bit like they're filling up really quick.

And increasing the amounts of scholarships they've already awarded, in some cases.

I wouldn't worry about them filling up, though. They've admitted some people who will almost certainly be withdrawing their apps, leaving them with some slots to fill. That's the part that doesn't make sense. They're admitting some clearly HYS-bound applicants and, in my opinion, somewhat missing that sweet spot of applicants who would help their numbers and might actually attend.

Looking at last year's LSN, I saw mention of a "we haven't forgotten about you" e-mail in January, so we have that to look forward to.
