Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
so, something really weird just happened. I was doing a cursory google search of my name, and a whole bunch of UGA law links popped up referencing a "profile" that I had. It seems to be some sort of database on their website that includes the first and last name of a person and the year they graduated/will graduate, but every time I try to click on a link, the page goes blank. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to why UGA's applicants are showing up on their website? glitch in the system?

Very strange, if you click "cached" you can bring up your name and other peoples profiles/lsac numbers... ?? lol
Also PM me if I met you guys, I forgot your TLS names...

Maybe my Google skillz aren't as developed as y'alls, but I wasn't able to find any such page or link. What the heck did you see!?Sandro wrote:Very strange, if you click "cached" you can bring up your name and other peoples profiles/lsac numbers... ?? lol

Edit : WOAH, creepy. Just found a myspace page dedicated in loving memory to a girl who died in 1994 with my exact first, middle, and last name.

Add uga at the end of the search. e.g. on google search for "first last uga"bartleby wrote:tried searching my name. all physicists / engineers / drs.

Nothing law related on the first 7 pages for me.zdayar wrote:Add uga at the end of the search. e.g. on google search for "first last uga"bartleby wrote:tried searching my name. all physicists / engineers / drs.

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
I think your name might be too common. I'm fairly confident I am the only person with my name in the U.S., so there are very few links (about 7 pages total) that reference my name. Half of those are spam sites too

Have you been accepted yet? Maybe it's only accepted students?leidice wrote:Nothing law related on the first 7 pages for me.zdayar wrote:Add uga at the end of the search. e.g. on google search for "first last uga"bartleby wrote:tried searching my name. all physicists / engineers / drs.
Sidenote: that you can see other people's LSAC numbers is a little sketchy...

I haven't been accepted yet, so that wouldn't be why I don't think.limelightwave wrote:Have you been accepted yet? EDIT: yeah, the most of the links show up blank when you click on them, but occasionally I was able to see some names/numbers.

well Richmond is still cheaper, but UGA's education at the in-state price is really hard to beat....jarv1506 wrote:congratulations! it's pretty hard to beat the price at uga huh?limelightwave wrote:Got a tuition equalization scholarship todayThis is making my RIchmond v. yeah, the quality of the education for that price is an amazing bargain. did you make it to the asw? i was pretty impressed with the people, the program, the school, and the athens area in general. as an out of stater i definitely feel more comfortable with the idea of moving to georgia now.limelightwave wrote:well Richmond is still cheaper, but UGA's education at the in-state price is really hard to beat....jarv1506 wrote:congratulations! it's pretty hard to beat the price at uga huh?limelightwave wrote:Got a tuition equalization scholarship todayThis is making my RIchmond v. no, I wasn't able to go to the asw, but I'm planning on making a trip down there this week before I make a final decision! I haven't been to Athens before, but I love Georgia generally, so I have a good feeling about it.jarv1506 wrote:yeah, the quality of the education for that price is an amazing bargain. did you make it to the asw? i was pretty impressed with the people, the program, the school, and the athens area in general. as an out of stater i definitely feel more comfortable with the idea of moving to georgia now.limelightwave wrote:well Richmond is still cheaper, but UGA's education at the in-state price is really hard to beat....jarv1506 wrote:congratulations! it's pretty hard to beat the price at uga huh?limelightwave wrote:Got a tuition equalization scholarship todayThis is making my RIchmond v. just got back from Georgia and must say, I am much more comfortable now about the idea of moving to Georgia after visiting. It's looking like I am a lock-in for UGA for the fall!

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
just saw this on craigslist - anyone know anything about 755 broad ? From the looks and what i remember someone saying they were condos that are now renting out ?
--LinkRemoved--
Looks pretty nice and if the craigslist tagline of 1370 for a 2b is right its not too expensive...

I've actually been talking to them about signing a lease on one of their 1b apts, the place looks really really nice and is obviously in a great location.Sandro wrote:just saw this on craigslist - anyone know anything about 755 broad ?
