see this would never happen to me because I would not post about lawl school acceptances on social media.mornincounselor wrote:In other news, I saw a FB friend got into Miami law and amidst the sea of "OMG COngrats" I slid into her DMs with a link to lstreports. I didn't catch her response, but I suspect it involved several naughty words.

Oh yeah I think this makes total sense. The play-by-play updates for each acceptance/scholarship offer is just overkill IMO.theugg wrote:might post where I'm eventually attending because I'm petty and not above showing off to x person from high school that I didn't like

I imagine after posting where I am going, the sea of PMs that will arise from old flames wanting to "grab coffee and catch up"theugg wrote:might post where I'm eventually attending because I'm petty and not above showing off to x person from high school that I didn't like

Family member: Abyss you're not on Facebook but I would like to follow your law school admissions.
Me: oh, look at this website.
Family member: thanks
I guess I should have clarified that only family members have asked about this. I'm not doing this with acquaintances and friends.

Re: c/o 2019 Applicant Compendium (2015 - 2016)
Our high school senior yearbook had this great idea to interview people about where they were going to college. I got asked to participate. Publishing deadline for the yearbook was ~Feb., didn't hear back from most schools until late March/April 1st. Cue my face being forever enshrined in the yearbook next to the name of a school that WLed me.theugg wrote:yes and I'm pretty sure I did it for undergradEnderWiggin wrote:Oh yeah I think this makes total sense.
