nothing! I grow weary these shenanigans, IUB (looking at you too, UNC). At this point I have given up all hope on receiving any kind of merit aid from IUB, which pretty much eliminate them from consideration. Does anyone have information on their money situation over there? Seems like they have been handing out full rides recently, if I recall correctly - I just hope there is something left at this point.
I wouldn't hold out hope for aid. You're at one median and below the other. I submitted my app in early January and still haven't heard back. I called the admissions office and was told I still had to wait another two to three weeks for a decision.
I applied in mid-January, went complete at the end of February, and have been waiting and waiting . . . . Thank you for calling--I was about to myself. (I have trouble hearing on the telephone, so I try not to call anyone unless I have to.) Ahhh, the agony of waiting.

They are waiting for the deadlines to see who commits and what not. If you have no heard back from a school by now, that is the case. That means you are most an acceptance, but they need to see how what the class looks like as of now.

congrats on your decision!!

I was just permitted an extension as I have another ASD this week I want to attend before committing anywhere. Must feel nice to have it all finished!

I also learned that summer start tuition is covered if you have a full tuition scholarship. Just fyi.

Congrats to those who have recently committed to IU. It's nice not to be the only "A" on LSN.

Holy crap those are expensive apartments. You can get apartments for under $500 of the same size in Bloomington. Then again, I'm just plain cheap.

yeah, I can't make my wife live like a college kid even though I'm back in school. She'll be supporting us so if she can afford it and she likes it, that's where we'll be.

Anyone thinking about sending a LOCI before getting a decision? I have the magic 164, but the GPA puts me in WL territory (I hope). Complete in January.

It's certainly not unheard of. If you were gonna send it, I would send it now with their acceptance deadline coming up soon.

I recently did this for another school. At this point in the game, what do you have to lose?

Anyone got a physical address? Or should a nice email do the trick?

Congratulations! When I sent mine in, it took them a couple business days to get back to me.

You can call and ask. She told me I was admitted and received a scholly over the phone. Packet arrived about a week later. It's worth a try!

Yeah, I actually did this about two or three weeks ago. She said I was currently being reviewed and I should expect a decision in a couple weeks. I don't want to seem annoying or anything, plus they already sent out that email apologizing for the lengthened process. I'll give it til Friday and then maybe I'll give them another call.

Yes. Dean Motley, Dani, and Kelly (separately).

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
