I hope so... it's been 8 weeks for me, and a lot of these people haven't been complete that long.

So far this cycle, I have yet to notice a school that has emailed out separate batches of acceptances during the same day. (Some schools have sent out individual emails or made phone calls throughout the day, but email batches seem to go out just once.) I hope that NU departs from the norm. It's still only 1 o'clock in Chicago.

Nothing...I think I'm out...sadly I like it just as much as Chicago because of the location difference.

Just curious: what time was the email stamped? I'm wondering if they're trickling out slowly, in which case the rest of us might be able to hold out some hope yet today.

Nothing...I think I'm out...sadly I like it just as much as Chicago because of the location difference.

There are at least a couple of us with auto-admitish numbers (and with WE) who were complete in November and who have yet to hear anything. I wouldn't assume that you're out just because you haven't heard yet.

I didn't even apply to Chicago due to the location. I applied to NU because of the location and because of family in Chicago.

I love UChicago, but I hate that location. When I visited NU, I remember being like "here is the starbucks I can study at" and "here is the mall I can go into debt at...."

What do you all think would be the effect of a less-than-perfect alumni interview on otherwise auto-admit numbers? I wouldn't say that my interview was terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't fabulous, either...
