Let's be honest with ourselves: I'm going to SLS.somewhatwayward wrote:^
by that, did you essentially mean, i am coming if i am admitted, or, at this point, would you still consider going somewhere else even after having written that?

If you check out LSN, you'll notice that it's pretty common--both for this year's cycle and last year's--for SLS to accept just one or two applicants in a day. Although there are many applicants who do not participate in either TLS or LSN, I think it's fair to conclude that SLS doles out acceptances in very small batches. I mean, compare SLS to Berkeley. In early December, we were seeing dozens of people a day reporting Berkeley acceptances on TLS alone.tintin wrote:im surprised no one else has gotten a call. i guess TLS is a small sample though. too bad.
I got mine the same day as the phone call but I'm in SF. You probably should expect it at the end of this week or early next week.WhiskeyGuy wrote:For those who have been admitted: how long does it take for the packet to arrive? I'm on the other coast.

Good idea. I sent it through LSAC and filled out both forms.louboutin wrote:I am sending an additional, stanford-specific LOR. Stanford is a bit of a long shot for me so even though my chances are slim I want to do what I can. How do you send Form C? Straight to the school or through LSAC? And do you need to fill out the LSAC-recommender form as well?
If you've already applied and are just supplementing your completed application, I'd send it straight to their office, but consult their website to see what their preferences are.Legalite wrote:should we send additional LORs through LSDAS or straight to S's office? thanks and g'luck
I'm in the NYC area and got the package the day after the call/email.crackberry wrote:I got mine the same day as the phone call but I'm in SF. Yes, although "visit" is perhaps not the right word for someone who lives in the immediate vicinity.fidesverita wrote:I know this is a totally random question... but anyone visiting SLS next week?
Great, thank you!teach12 wrote:I'm in the NYC area and got the package the day after the call/email.crackberry wrote:I got mine the same day as the phone call but I'm in SF. Haha, very true... I'm just wondering if anybody wants to do the whole official tour and sit in on classes with me. If I just sit outside the admissions office, will Dean Deal get the hint? yeah, i really wish they would tell me asap. because if i somehow miraculously get in, then i will not bother shelling out hundreds of dollars to visit schools on the east coast, which would be great. so annoying. i wonder why they are so slow comparatively?yourdadcalled wrote:I still haven't heard from Stanford, and don't expect to get in, but I wish that they would make a decision and just let me know. Other schools were kind enough to reject me within two months of my application going complete
it took 2-3 days to arrive on the east coastWhiskeyGuy wrote:For those who have been admitted: how long does it take for the packet to arrive? I'm on the other coast.
