My interviewer just said "I know you all don't like to hear this, but it will be a while before you hear back from us." I didn't feel like pushing her on more, because I know from experience that it honestly depends on a number of different factors - and that's dealing with admissions that *aren't* rolling.hellohalo wrote:

ADMISSIONS SPREADSHEETS ARE HERE!
Hi everyone! I made an initial draft of an admissions spreadsheet for this cycle found here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
Feel free to fill in your numbers and as much information as you want about yourselves. Please PM me with any concerns or bugs that you find (haven't used Google Sheets before so there are bound to be a few). If everything seems to be working well, I will do the same for some of the other schools too - figured HLS would be a good test run though.
Just a heads up...it may take a few seconds to fully load.

Had a random question...I got my JS1 relatively soon after I applied (went complete 11/30 I think, JS1 email 12/20). Does that quick turnaround bode well for me, or is it just random?
Thanks

It's random. And when you get your JS1 has no bearing on how soon you'll get your JS2.sphyrnidae13 wrote:Had a random question...I got my JS1 relatively soon after I applied (went complete 11/30 I think, JS1 email 12/20). Does that quick turnaround bode well for me, or is it just random?

I imagine they probably are relative to many applicant pools, but not for Harvard.

What would y'all consider an actually "unique" soft to be?

Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
The LS22 Index was made up by LawSchool22 who made the original spreadsheets a few years back. I just used the same formula he had because Harvard does not have a published admissions index.CHyde wrote:Truman/Marshall/Rhodestinycatfriend wrote:What would y'all consider an actually "unique" soft to be?
Olympic Medal
Scientific Discovery/Invention
Awe inspiring personal story?
Different question, how is the LS22 index calculated? Is it standard across all schools or specific to Harvard? I know schools usually use a different number to multiply against GPA/LSAT.
