Hellohalo mentioned their interviewer said the next committee meeting would be two weeks from Jan. 6. My money is on the week after that, but my heart realllyyy hopes that two weeks meant one week and there will be a round tomorrow.
Tomorrow would be swell.
Cheers to that!

Yea my interviewer said 2-3 weeks
so I have my money on 23-27 though I'm not expecting to hear then
Thanks for confirming! Same, I'm prepping for the long haul but hope springs eternal, etc., etc. :)
Interesting - my interviewer back in December said late-December to early-mid January is likely given my "late" interview. So I'm hoping for tomorrow or early next week too.
Huh, my interviewer (Nov.) stressed that candidates could very well not hear until April -- that said, you are definitely a safer bet than I am with your stats, so I'd assume that plays a part.
Yah my interview (January) said it could be anytime between now and April. Maybe it depends on who you get for an interviewer what they tell you for date ranges?
What my interviewer told me was "the next committee meeting was in 2-3 weeks, so you definitely won't hear anything before then"

My interviewer just said "I know you all don't like to hear this, but it will be a while before you hear back from us." I didn't feel like pushing her on more, because I know from experience that it honestly depends on a number of different factors - and that's dealing with admissions that *aren't* rolling.

^My interviewer said the same today

ADMISSIONS SPREADSHEETS ARE HERE!

Hi everyone! I made an initial draft of an admissions spreadsheet for this cycle found here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Feel free to fill in your numbers and as much information as you want about yourselves. Please PM me with any concerns or bugs that you find (haven't used Google Sheets before so there are bound to be a few). If everything seems to be working well, I will do the same for some of the other schools too - figured HLS would be a good test run though.

Just a heads up...it may take a few seconds to fully load.

How should I fill my international GPA? Or I should just not fill in the form

Had a random question...I got my JS1 relatively soon after I applied (went complete 11/30 I think, JS1 email 12/20). Does that quick turnaround bode well for me, or is it just random?

Thanks

It's random. And when you get your JS1 has no bearing on how soon you'll get your JS2.

Weird that 75% so far have above average or highly unique softs

Errrybody thinks they're above average, apparently 8)
I imagine they probably are relative to many applicant pools, but not for Harvard.

What would y'all consider an actually "unique" soft to be?

Truman/Marshall/Rhodes
Olympic Medal
Scientific Discovery/Invention
Awe inspiring personal story?

Different question, how is the LS22 index calculated? Is it standard across all schools or specific to Harvard? I know schools usually use a different number to multiply against GPA/LSAT.
The LS22 Index was made up by LawSchool22 who made the original spreadsheets a few years back. I just used the same formula he had because Harvard does not have a published admissions index.
