ashrice13 wrote:FWIW, I think most of us that have sent in a negotiation request are getting the same type of response back. They'll hold on to your letter/email and add it to your file. If you have applied for the need based aid, they'll confirm that they received that application. If you haven't, they'll tell you to apply. Looking at last years thread, they did the same thing then too.

Fingers crossed for everyone!
Filled out my need based application last night (since finaid asks you to) and went through all my parent's finances etc. for FAFSA. I hadn't done it yet bc I didn't think I would qualify for anything

After going through that with them, I KNOW I won't be getting anything, lol. Luckily they are helping me, so it makes sense for me to put it all on there. I did add a disclaimer that I'll be paying them back but I'm not hopeful.

Has anyone who has also been waiting since November for a decision contacted admissions about their timeline? If so, what info did they give you?

Email. Status checker hasn't updated. It'll probably remain at app complete until a decision is made

I was thinking that but their medians actually raised pretty significantly this year. I think the reason for the drop must be something else. Maybe reduced employment outcomes or something? I'm completely speculating because I actually am not sure how heavily the various factors are rated.

What did their LSAT / GPA go up to? I can't seem to find that info

Anyone know if acceptances come in waves here? I've been complete since Jan. 4 and this is my top choice. I'm in at BC but really want BU. Also if waves, over how many hours do they come out?

General info for those who sent scholly negotiations or waiting on need-based aid. I looked through the c/o 2019 thread and it seems like the action for these decisions came late March, after the 20th. So there's some waiting to do

Also that thread topped out at 30 pages...lol at the over analyzing that has this at 43

My correspondence with the finaid office gave me a time of mid-March, so that would probably be the earliest. Late March sounds about right and is pretty reasonable.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
