Those who got interview reqs today, what time did you get that email? I'm trying to figure out of its all one mass "send" or if they're sending them out throughout the day

Does anyone know the approximate turn around time from alumni interview request being confirmed and the interviewer contacting you?

My status says "Application Completed". That's the only update they provide, even when a decision is made.Applicant12 wrote:Thanks guys, are any of you "Completed" or all "complete"?

According to the spreadsheet, about two weeks average so far. I think it depends pretty heavily on the individual interviewers.spacemonkey001122 wrote:Does anyone know the approximate turn around time from alumni interview request being confirmed and the interviewer contacting you?

Okay cool, so completed doesn't mean there's no chance of interview at some point, thanks!Tycho wrote:My status says "Application Completed". That's the only update they provide, even when a decision is made.Applicant12 wrote:Thanks guys, are any of you "Completed" or all "complete"?

How long after applying did you receive interview request?

I'm talking about the turn around time from accepting the alum interview request and the time the alum contacts you.Tycho wrote:According to the spreadsheet, about two weeks average so far. For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. GT admits tons of people without an interview. Moreover, the interviews are pretty chill. Nothing serious.
Also, it seems that GT does not follow the 3 weeks timeline at all. My application went complete on 10/29 but haven't heard anything yet. I went to a group interview on Nov 5. My numbers are pretty low so I'm pretty sure that I'll get deferred, but at least send me an email you know...

I think people may be doing themselves a disservice by reasoning based on interview requests, interview timing, other applicants' stats or status checker details that they can tell what their decision might be and when it will come.
Patience
. I suspect gtown' admissions office likes patience because they're inundated, so I wouldn't recommend contacting them to ask about your status. But I could be wrong.

Same here! I submitted on 11/6 and hope I can hear back before thanksgiving. If I get admitted I wont retake LSAT in december and can enjoy a more cheerful thanksgivingjsylkpd wrote:For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. Technically it could be that your decision was mailed out within the 3 week timeline.jsylkpd wrote:For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. GT admits tons of people without an interview. Moreover, the interviews are pretty chill. Nothing serious.

I checked the thread from last year and it says some ED applicants did not even get any notification within five weeks...Alive97 wrote:Technically it could be that your decision was mailed out within the 3 week timeline.jsylkpd wrote:For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. Whether those guys eventually get admitted? Or only an email telling them bad news after the whole waiting?jsylkpd wrote:I checked the thread from last year and it says some ED applicants did not even get any notification within five weeks...Alive97 wrote:Technically it could be that your decision was mailed out within the 3 week timeline.jsylkpd wrote:For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. I'm inclined to belive that's because the snail mail delay...This waiting has messed up my December Lsat preparation....jsylkpd wrote:I checked the thread from last year and it says some ED applicants did not even get any notification within five weeks...Alive97 wrote:Technically it could be that your decision was mailed out within the 3 week timeline.jsylkpd wrote:For those of you who didn't get interviews, don't worry. I submitted back in October with a >75% LSAT and 3.8 GPA from a top school. I feel that my ECs are pretty strong. Also have two years of pretty difficult work experience. Haven't heard anything at all! I'm getting nervous.
