My My LSN chances increase significantly if I include my fall grades. (from 25% - 40%). I sent in my transcript update but it hasn't been processed yet. I'm on UR 2. Do you think it's a good idea to e-mail Penn and ask them to hold a decision until they get my update?

Re: Penn c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I wouldn't. It seems like some people have had them request fall grades...so I'm guessing if they think your updated grades could make a difference, they'll ask for your updated transcript if they don't have it at that point. It also shouldn't take that long for it to get processed, so they'll likely have it by the next wave of decisions anyway.jumbo2016 wrote:My My LSN chances increase significantly if I include my fall grades. Waitlisted today.
Ego slightly less bruised than if outright rejection happened.

I'm in the uncomfortable position of transferring during undergrad with a low 3's GPA (after two years) and graduating with a 3.89 (after three years)... I'd hoped they would see an upward trend but.... yeah.
Good luck to everyone else!

In yesterday! UR2 12/14. Don't read too much into the UR2 dates, they just give you panic attacks.

Same as all of you. ED2 complete 12/7. I'm guessing we might not even see movement this week until after the ED2 deadline on the 15th. I hope we at least see something this week though :/fooniff33 wrote:second both of you.hunt godlink wrote:Kind of. ED2 submitted 1/5 complete 1/6. So when do we think next round of decisions are coming out? Based on how they came out in December (14th, 18th, & 22nd), I'm hoping for some Friday decisions.

I submitted my "Why Penn" via email after I submitted my app. Go for it!MikeChristopher wrote:As someone who applied back in October, would there be any downside to e-mailing the admissions office with an update resume and a "Why Penn" essay this late in the game? Is there any way it might harm my chances (by putting my application "to the bottom of the pile," so to speak?)

Considering doing this. Would you mind sharing how you went about it? (ie email with brief awkward excuse and the essay as an attachment?)Biglaw1990 wrote:I submitted my "Why Penn" via email after I submitted my app. Go for it!MikeChristopher wrote:As someone who applied back in October, would there be any downside to e-mailing the admissions office with an update resume and a "Why Penn" essay this late in the game?
