Does 7 slots seem like a really small wave to anyone else? Or are we thinking this is it, the last JS1 "wave" before acceptances become a one-at-a-time trickle over the summer?

Maybe people with JS1s tomorrow can ask/will hear about what they're doing going forward

Pretty small when most of the invites don't appear to have gone to fellow TLSers.andthenIwaslike wrote:Me too. Sigh. The thinker wrote:meCinderella24 wrote:bertabound wrote:Present.Hikari wrote:How many here are still JS1-less?

I refuse to give up hope until June 15. And I will keep hoping even beyond that as long as I am riding the waitlist.

JS1 less here too. Since I only have waitlists, and have a job, and thus no real need to decide before August, I was planning to ride them all the way, but I'm starting to lose faith. I'll probably still stick it out, but it's such a hassle having to go month to month on my lease and not being able to plan for the future. It is tempting to just say to heck with it, the next cycle starts so soon, and I could get it in on the first day this time around. Such a stressful system, for us and the schools as well, as everyone has to so meticulously balance money and reputation/yield.
Good luck to everyone JS1ing. I hope you can be done with this foolishness soon.

I hear you. Be glad you don't have a tough decision to make as in choosing a school that offers you $$$$.dreams2020 wrote:JS1 less here too. Some hear back as late as August.
I would only move with such short notice for my top choice which is Harvard.

Any URM has gotten off the waitlist yet? I predict a URM wave by June 20.

I know it is going to become harder and harder to remain on the waitlist as time goes. I have noticed in previous cycles that people will remain on the waitlist even though they have ED'ed at another school, have received a substantial scholarship they can't pass up or have sunk too much money in deposits and rent at another school as to not being able to move to HLS if pulled off the waitlist.
Please, please withdraw if you are in that position!! Let folks that most want it have a chance to get in!

Last year I don't think they did URM waves like they did in last years, but who knows

Did anyone who did a JS1 last week get a sense of when they'd have more JS2s?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
