Any sense that a brief LOCI/Why Stanford email could help on the margins? I know the consensus is that Stanford already knows everyone is dying to go there, but I doubt it could hurt. Thoughts?

It probably wouldn't hurt, but I wonder, would it really help either?

Probably not, but I suppose a well-written email could leave a good impression and prompt someone to reopen a file.mwonka wrote:It probably wouldn't hurt, but I wonder, would it really help either?

I sent a short email with updated resume letting them know that they were my number one squeeze and they rejected me.mwonka wrote:It probably wouldn't hurt, but I wonder, would it really help either?

Checked on lawschoolnumbers and didn't see anything- but does anyone know (because they know some non-TLS applicants or something) if the creeping DLS wave has moved up anymore?

You will only be truly happy when you pay Stanford $55k a year to attend.curlietop86 wrote:haha at this point i will truly be happy either way.Bird Lawyer wrote:Be careful what you ask forcurlietop86 wrote:i would just like to hear something!

Didn't a user ITT report a rejection with a submission date of December? A single rejection would be too much of an anomaly, wouldn't it?

Yeah, I looked back and saw altf4 got rejected as a mid-December submitter. It is possible that we are both just that awful.Oskosh wrote:Didn't a user ITT report a rejection with a submission date of December? A single rejection would be too much of an anomaly, wouldn't it?

Eventually it can also mean waitlist, although so far those haven't gone out.accessislife wrote:TCR is DLS no call means rejection right?

Stanford waiters should clearly have a puppy avatar instead.mr.plum wrote:This page has so many cat avatars

Nooo! I worked so hard to maximize my avatar related chances at HYS. I can't handle another constraint.Bird Lawyer wrote:Stanford waiters should clearly have a puppy avatar instead.mr.plum wrote:This page has so many cat avatars

I think the avatar should be something to do with wine...as it combines our love of California with the overwhelming desire to drink away our anxiety

Stanford's not really so much in wine country though. If you really want to capture Stanford love you need some startupy catch phrases. That or a duck (See "Duck Syndrome").The thinker wrote:I think the avatar should be something to do with wine...as it combines our love of California with the overwhelming desire to drink away our anxiety
