I've developed the habit of constantly reading this thread and checking the mail every day. This is agonizing.
For those who have heard back with good news, though, HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Help! I've gone through 20 pages in this post. I got a interview request (ecstatic and freaking out) but I can't find questions they asked. Could someone send post a link? Thanks!

Definitely think this is the type of thing that could/should be edited into the first post for info sake.coffeeeeeee wrote:Help! I've gone through 20 pages in this post. Full ride (tuition) Public Interest scholarship - emailed to me in attachment bc I'm international. Crazy excited!
Interviewed mid-January, LSAT at 75th, GPA 75th>50th.
Expected to do PI post-graduation but no formal requirement - faculty and student mentorship during school, as well as guaranteed funded human rights internship summers.
Didn't even know these existed!

Quick question for the ED-ers out there. Has anyone heard back after being shuffled into the RD pool in January?

So international students who get named scholarship get it thru email, not snail mail.
I was hoping that the reason I haven't heard back is that I got a named scholarship but it's still in transit, since I'm also an international.. Maybe the lack of news is just an impending doom loll

Re: Columbia c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Someone several pages back reported it took them close to 2 months since app submission to complete their app. I'm fast approaching that timetable too... Submitted early- to mid- December, was told I needed an updated transcript early January, sent it off and report was finalized mid January... and still not completed.
Wondering if I should give them another week or just email them and see? I'm getting antsy.
On the other hand, that full ride PI scholarship is wonderful!! Congrats romanesque on your achievement.
But I thought something like this would surely need a separate application, but you say you didn't know this existed? Are these then given out based on PS and WE content?

Do you or might you need a study abroad transcript? I went though a whole fiasco with thataltf4 wrote:Someone several pages back reported it took them close to 2 months since app submission to complete their app. I'm fast approaching that timetable too... That was such a crazy experience. After sitting at received for over a month, I finally get an e-mail informing me they're missing my study abroad transcript. If I knew they were going to want something that LSAC doesn't even want I would've sent it so much earlier.ub3r wrote:Do you or might you need a study abroad transcript? Re: Columbia c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
I'd already sent all relevant transcripts, just not an updated one. I was asked for it 3-4 weeks later so I immediately sent that off, of course, and it's been another 3-4 weeks since my final submission (updated transcript). I emailed them when the report was sent, initially, but I'm still at completion pending. I don't want to bug them but Columbia's the only school that has me at not-even-complete even though it was one of my earliest applications.DCfilterDC wrote:That was such a crazy experience. This is probably too obvious, but any chance you took the LSAT Saturday? I submitted 1/16, got the status checker email the same night, but have been stuck at completion pending since. My guess was that it's because of my February registration. I'm ok with that though, since (obviously) I was retaking in hopes of scoring higher.altf4 wrote:I'd already sent all relevant transcripts, just not an updated one. I don't think there really is a list (that I could find anyway) because the conversation is so casual and very specific to your experiences. I didn't even get a why Columbia though I threw it into another question's answer.coffeeeeeee wrote:Help! I've gone through 20 pages in this post. Just got my acceptance e-mail! So excited, wasn't expecting to receive anything for a while (went complete in early January)!

+1. At/above both 75ths. No sense is being made right now, especially with the complicating factor of my snail mail being painfully slow.LawBron James wrote:Congrats!

After they received mine, I got the update that night. If you think everything is sent and it's been 3-4 weeks already. Send them an e-mail today wait a few days for a response, if no response by Friday and you're still pending then call them.altf4 wrote:I'd already sent all relevant transcripts, just not an updated one. I'm trying to avoid the "I'm deluding myself into thinking I'm a Butler candidate when I'm really just getting waitlisted" mindset.
As a Columbia fan, it's a 180 reality pivot for me; I think a little Stockholm is also kicking in. ><
