cant hurt (unless you write like five of them)
Is this credited? (No offense to Mack, I just want to be sure before doing something that could be seen as over-aggressive.) I went complete in September, and have heard back with offers of admission and considerable $ from literally every other school (all T10) I am remotely interested in attending. I'd just really like to hear back from UVA as well, since it's my top choice! Would it be too much to submit a LOCI now, not having heard anything in more than four months? Do y'all think it has more chance of hurting or helping?
Did you interview? It may be a good middle ground to e-mail your interviewer if that is an option.
If you got into the rest of the T10, you're probably a very competitive applicant and they might be thinking of YP'ing you. I feel like it would likely help your application, since you're showing genuine interest in the school.

So, to my fellow #radiosilence crew members...do we think UVA is hoping we'll withdraw? What's the reason we haven't been waitlisted yet?

As a member of this unfortunate #radiosilence crew, my theory is that they are waiting until the application deadline so they can see if they can afford to YP or if they need to try and snag any of the high numbers applicants

Complete since November. RD. No interview request. Still at "Application complete" on checker.

Others in same boat?

Ditto. Regarding the radio silence, and assuming both of you are potential YP folk as well, LSCHI's suggestion sounds plausible to me.

Yeah, I also think they probably hope/expect some of us to withdraw before hearing back and YP ourselves in a sense.

Anyone apply via the Binding Expedited decision process? If so, were you accepted?

For those who applied ED... how long did it really take to get your answer? I've gotten the sense that is doesn't take that long, but I'm about to hit the 15 day mark and no word. To be fair, I guess I'm counting weekends, but it's still been 10 working days and from what I can tell, most people have heard much sooner than even that. My numbers are way below the medians (this was a total hail mary), so I'm grateful to have not been dinged on day 1. But still. Put me out of my misery!

Anyone else have to wait the full 15 (or longer!)?

Same boat as you. Today would be my 12th working day and my numbers are well below the medians as well. I dont think there's a correlation between how long it takes for them to decide on your application and what the final outcome is. I'll be calling up monday if I do not receive any news this week.

I applied binding ED about a week ago. 75th LSAT and <<<<<GPA so it's a longshot.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
