Does Vandy tend to send out decisions in waves? On Wednesdays?

Do you receive an email when a decision has been mailed or do you have to keep checking the status checker?

Decision Mailed.
It only took them 172 days, roughly 24 weeks.

It's probably been discussed earlier in this thread, but how long is it between acceptance and scholarship notifications?

Re: Vanderbilt Law c/o 2017 applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Called Vandy recently and they said they would be extending decisions past April 1st, up through May possibly.
Been in for over 14 weeks and at median LSAT and 25th for GPA so I feel like that should merit a decision one way or another by April 1st since they should be able to assume I will be attending some law school next year based on my scores alone.
Only thing I can possibly think of is that they're really struggling hard to keep their median at a certain number or prevent it from dropping so the people who are close are getting strung along until they know a little more about where they stand.
Not that Vanderbilt isn't a great school and all but the complete lack of information even for people past the "12 week deadline" is somewhat annoying considering there are only two week days until deadlines come in. My father also said they were antisemitic towards him in his med school interview there in the 80's (unrelated, but does not help them).

Got the WL letter yesterday (official decision on 3/21). 166, 3.95, non-URM.
Won't be staying on the WL, but best of luck to those still waiting for news!

That's what it seems like. I'm a 165/4.0, submitted 3/15. I'm anticipating a waitlist. Can we submit deposits (including second deposits) to other schools and keep our Vandy file open?acc123 wrote:Only thing I can possibly think of is that they're really struggling hard to keep their median at a certain number or prevent it from dropping so the people who are close are getting strung along until they know a little more about where they stand.

Looking at LSN, it seems like they're waiting to make decisions on a lot of >25<50 LSATs? Really hoping to hear soon with deposit dates looming...

I'm interested in this as well (specifically for those who have been admitted recently). Anyone care to weigh in?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
