I submitted last week as well. I haven't even received the tracker email yet. Are your chances at Stanford substantially lower when you apply in January?

Not according to TLS user elterrible's analysis here: http://admissionsbythenumbers.blogspot. ... esses.htmlhellomellow wrote:I submitted last week as well. I haven't even received the tracker email yet. Are your chances at Stanford substantially lower when you apply in January?
However, the usual caveats about the problems with LSN-based data apply.

I'm tapping out for today. I'm assuming that I'm doomed to the Wait List
Last couple of times I gave up on a day, more decisions came through. But if you read this, you just jinxed it.

Are we already at a point where late Oct/early Nov applicants should expect a WL/rejection/late cycle acceptance? It seems like relatively few decisions have gone out......

Yes, but except for the first day of calls back in November, calls have typically gone out earlier in the day.drawstring wrote:Still only 2:52 there....

My reaction every time people in this thread get accepted:
1) "Okay. Here we go. Where's my phone? I'm ready."
2) "Wait, these people got in hours ago. They probably would have called me if I were being accepted today."
3) "Jeez. What's so special about these guys? I'm a worthwhile applicant, right?"
4) "I hate everyone and everything."
5) "Now I feel like a jerk for being upset when I've already been accepted to great schools."
