Looks like the trip proved useful!anteater1 wrote:Visited BC on my trip as well, really loved the campus and surrounding area (more catered to my interest in a community atmosphere)
Personally BC > BU based on my previous statement and they appear more public interest oriented. Coupled with better employment stats I'd attend BC with all other factors being equal.
Whooooooa! Congratulations! I have to imagine you'll be Boston bound in the fall.Rory19 wrote:Just got the call-I have been awarded a Public Interest Scholarship!! $35,000 a year, $400 travel stipend for ASW and $4,000 employment stipend for Public Interest employment 1L and 2L summers.

Waitlisted today as well. Skri, just wondering what your numbers were? BC and BU are my top choices, and I'm still waiting for BC so maybe I still have hope!skri65 wrote:Waitlisted as well. Have my BC acceptance so can't be too disappointed. Anyone know when WL people can expect to hear again (if at all)?

BC is a bit of a black box when it comes to admissions. BU is very numerical and should yield few surprises.skri65 wrote:164/3.6..BC is all over the place numbers wise this cycle, pretty unpredictable.
Good man. Send him a congrats from me!cusenation wrote:Thought I'd chime in for a friend who got in today, cuz he's not on TLS

was this laura gitelson? I met her three years ago. As you can see by my name, I chose BC. I still haven't forgotten her name haha.anteater1 wrote:goden wrote:Do tellanteater1 wrote:Met by far the most off-putting dean today at my BU visit. The 3L giving the tour couldn't have been more accommodating, likewise with the fin aid staff, but this dean left a serious bad taste in my mouth.
Edit: assistant dean
I don't want to give away too much info on here (you and dprod can hmu on Facebook) but essentially she mocked what I did for a living and blatantly said it was a waste of time. I tried asking her other general questions and she acted like I was stupid for asking them. Really put me off.

I actually don't feel too bad. About 2 weeks ago, BU/BC were probably my top 2. But recently, I've grown to really like WUSTL.dproduct wrote:JesusChrist wrote:166/3.3, applied mid-Nov, WL email
As a current BU student, I'm interested to hear about this too please.JesusChrist wrote:Yes, indulge us.AlanShore wrote:What did it say?anteater1 wrote:Got a pleasant email today from said assistant dean, color me baffled...
