Not true. Mine was unknown.

10/26 here. Just be happy you weren't an auto-ding or wait list. The wait at least gives me some hope that I am being considered, rather than going straight to purgatory.

I (an OOS RD No Why-UVA splitter) just got the WL email too. It's a nice email, at least, and more personal than my acceptance letter from Loyola Chicago.
