It's actually June 10th, so there will probably be movement the week after next.
Ooohhhhh!!! Thank you for telling us that! I thought it was the 1st as well and have been sitting here anxiously waiting for an email or call.

I'm waiting on a response for my request to defer. After that, hopefully, my seat for this cycle would go back into the pot

earlier today. I just called them and they said that the purpose of the call is to determine whether or not I am still interested and if i would be able to make and admissions decision within 48 hrs. of notice. I said that i would be able to do so. Everyone else may just get a call, I had said that it was best to contact me by e-mail and that may be the whole purpose of the e-mail.

I also received said email today. Notre Dame is one one of my top choices, I'm just concerned about cost. Does anyone admitted off of the waitlist know if Notre Dame requires you to withdraw from all other waitlists upon being accepted?

After looking at all the high LSAT and GPAs of waitlisted candidates, I'm thinking my best chance of getting off the WL is if the admissions committee is looking to fill a seat with a particular profile, or "type" of student. Luckily, I'm white, middle-class, come from a Judeo-Christian background, and I did my major in the college of humanities

I spoke to them about that after I was accepted. There's no requirement to withdraw, but they recommend that you only stay on one waitlist.

Does anyone care to conjecture on how many more offers might be made over the course of the summer? Or how many other candidates might be riding out the NDLS WL at this point?
Better yet, does anyone have an informed opinion based on a conversation with admissions?

I got a call from admissions today to gauge my interest and let me know that my file was being put back in review. He said that they anticipate making more offers near the end of the week or early next week. Crossing my fingers for a call! He said it could be as short as 48 hours to make a decision. Did anyone get a call like this before getting an offer?

Does anyone have an educated guess as to the number of candidates remaining on the waitlist? Has ND started to pare down their list?

I don't get why someone accepted months ago (i.e., me) never got an offer of scholarship money even with follow-up emails, but waitlist admits are?
I readily admit that I'm just jealous and bitter.

I probably would have attended even with a modest sum but just didn't get any love back. Congrats to all the recent admits.

I talked with Melissa (director of admissions) the day of my acceptance. They said they were putting a few files back into review and mine was one of the ones they wanted to take a look at. Call was at noon, decision via email at 5.
I ultimately turned down their offer monday because of my financial situation but am very jealous of those of you attending. Congrats to whoever gets my spot.

Thanks coreno16! I talked to them yesterday around 3 but no e-mail yet. I assume they will be pairing down the waitlist fairly soon..maybe I'm in the remove from the WL pile?
btw, I was feeling a little optimistic about getting an offer until I saw all the crazy high LSATs of the waitlisted folks on this thread! I'm sure I'm not too high on their list..good luck all!

Hi!!
Can someone please post a link to the NDLS status checker website? I accidentially deleted the email.

There is no NDLS Status Checker, but the office of admission is more then happy to talk to you and help you out.

In off the waitlist yesterday-- via e-mail and then a package via overnight mail. Unfortunately, no $$. I would have a really tough time turning them down, but doubling my debt is terrifying. Have to decide by Monday at noon..
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
