has anyone who was deferred from ED heard back yet?? It seems silly that they would keep waiting to tell us our decision when they have moved on to RD. Unless they didn't look at our application during the ED process because they automatically decided we were a deferral...

I did not receive my defferal letter and email Josie for inputs. Then I got a letter from Josie said decision on my application will be mailed to my address in the 2nd week of Feb... Does that mean they will send out large batch of rejections then?

Probably a dumb question and its just automated somehow but did anyone else get a handwritten note from the Dean? Frederick whatever? He wrote in pen about my pc experience and wanting me to come to school there.

If you're referring to the short blurb in the bottom corner of the typed page, everyone gets a handwritten note. Dean FML.

Just got in! 164/3.78. I had the personal note too, though it wasn't very personal. Just mentioned me being "outstanding" and "impressive." Made me feel wonderful until it occurred to me this could be a generic message, heh. Anyone get the same thing?

Yep, everyone mentioned the "sweet and sincere" (yet obviously generic) message on their acceptance letter.

Yep, everyone mentioned the "sweet and sincere" (yet obviously generic) message on their acceptance letter.

Mine wasn't generic at all... He mentioned how I had a great GPA and how he was excited for me to join their Intellectual Property program (which I wrote on my application as the program I wanted to go into).

Received acceptance package today! dated jan 26. (submitted 12/29 complete 1/20) 3.7/176. My note was kind of personalized as well. he hopes i "follow in my mother's footsteps" since she is a GW law alum. even if they do it for everyone it's a very nice touch. also appreciated the stamped envelope for the declaration of intent. its like a $0.44 scholarship.

yeah i was RD. I live in philly. i know sometimes mail takes longer different places. postmark was 1/28. I never got a link for their online status checker so i don't know when/if they updated that. if they have one. good luck. hope you hear soon.
