For some of you guys who have submitted LOCIs, who did you address it to and was it via snail mail or email?

I sent a hard copy of mine via post office. I addressed it to Dean Ingram because she's the one who signed my hold letter.

i called before sending in an addendum and was told that they preferred extra material sent to the generic admissions e-mail. not sure if this applies to LOCIs as well... call and ask!

It's an easier choice for me since I am a born Texan lol. UCLA is great but school pride would keep me here.

Dean's Excellence scholarship plus Nonresident Tuition Exemption in my mailbox today. Yikes.

No - the Dean's Excellence scholarship I was offered isn't a full ride, but 36k, or 12k a year, plus the tuition exemption (valued at 48k), for a total scholarship of 84k.

No phone, all in a letter.

It might only be for current UGs rather than someone who's graduated from Texas already.

I applied for RD and went complete on 11/25. I heard nothing since then. If they did not show any interest in me, they should reject me right away or if they have anything needed further consideration, they may waitlist me. But why nothing?

EDIT: by a quick search, both hotels i was looking at were already booked for the dates we need. if we can get a nice group together i wouldnt mind planning it out and mass mailing everyone the information to see what you guys think. also, we may even be able to save money if some would like to share a room. it would be awesome to have TLS members representing!

Car pooling from the hotel to campus.....yes you would fit perfectly in Austin lol.
