If I'm at/above the GPA and LSAT medians, complete on 11/17, should I be worried if I haven't heard yet? How long until the first batch of rejects arrives?

Could you guys point me to the source where it says scholarship essays can be turned in before Jan 1? Does it apply to all scholarships, or just the Furman?

I called and asked. I just said "scholarship essay," and didn't mention the Furman.

Thanks - I couldn't find the information anywhere on the website, so had a miserable week trying to finish scholarship essays to submit with the application. How odd that they didn't post that information on the website.

I caved and called. Nice lady on the phone. No decision made, my file is still w/ the committee. God damn my splitter status.

I initially asked if I was complete and she said yes. Then asked if a decision had been made and she said no, still w/ committee.

Booo, no envelope. I did, however, receive a viewbook and fee waiver from the University of Alabama!!!!

Anyway, I'm glad to see some people in this thread with postmarks on 12/4 instead of 12/1. Also, my 11/25 complete date is later than most. I haven't given up hope yet!

From the impression this site has given me about the URM boost, I would say you're a mortal lock and should probably have your sights set on HYS.
